Washing Fleece

The last few days i have been washing fleece.

i have been washing white , silver and black polwarth [beautiful 5 inch staple].

The almost last of my fine corriedale x , Steve another from mosely park – and englich leicester x – same colouring as graham not sure yet how sof t it will spin up – he feels  a bit more like the English leicester style [hairlike, lustrous, strong, curly] i have a corridale x merino that is not quite a comeback, and some brown corriedale lambswool.

there was also some second clipping kid mohair – which smelt of mothballs but i washed it gently and sun dried it and it smells fine now.

i ran out of soap nuts and used morning fresh and added a bit of lavender oil to the final rinse.
